Step-by-step Guide: How to convert AVCHD to DVD?

STEP 1. Download Daniusoft Media Converter Pro and install it on your PCs.

You should download Daniusoft Media Converter, install it correctly on your PCs and run it so you can enter the main interface of Daniusoft Media Converter.

Step 2. Choose AVCHD files to be converted to DVD.

You can open Daniusosft Media Conventer by click , and you are allowed to import AVCHD converted to DVD to this software. Or click , you are allowed to add a folder or import AVCHD files from the appointed folder through DRM Finder.

     

Note: If you have not set a folder for DRM Finder before you click DRM Finder to import the DRM files, there will be a popup message to inform you of setting a Smart Import folder for DRM files first on Option. Besides, you are allowed to edit the imported files by right clicking on one of the file in the file list to open the right-click menu:

        

• Add Files : Click to add supported media files.
  
  
• Remove: Click to delete the selected file.
  
  
• Clear: Click to delete all the added files.
  

Tip: You can drag the files upwards or downwards and release to move them on the list.

Step 3. Preview AVCHD you choose to convert to DVD.

After importing AVCHD files, you can preview them in the preview pane on the right of the main interface. It works as a common player. The name of the file being previewed will be shown on the top of the preview pane automatically.

Step 4. Set AVCHD files for converting AVCHD to DVD.

Edit AVCHD files to be converted to DVD as you want, such as sample rates, channel, encoder and bit rate. Besides, you can customize the audio encoding settings and save them as your own profile. After you have chosen the encoding options, just click the Save as... button and name your profile, and then the profile will be saved in the User Defined list. You can use the customized profile next time by selecting it from the list.

STEP 5. Convert AVCHD to DVD.

Press the button to start to convert AVCHD to DVD, and you can choose the destination for the final DVD as shown below in the red region.

Tip: you can see the conversion progress from the file list window when converting the file.
